Process Engineer

Description

Engineered Precision Casting Company is seeking a highly-motivated, self-starting individual to join their team as a Process Engineer. The engineer will work closely with the company’s Technical Director in designing process controls for pilot production of new parts, engineering solutions to improve manufacturing efficiency, and monitoring all aspects of the investment casting process. Engineered Precision Casting has 70+ years’ experience in investment casting focused on the aerospace sector.

Requirements

·   4 year degree in mechanical engineering, material sciences or related.

·   Highly Proficient with various computer software programs including engineering design software (e.g. SolidWorks) and MS office suite.

·   Strong knowledge of GD&T principles

·   Must be able to create 3D models from 2D drawings

·   Capable of handling multiple projects, with a proven ability to track results and make engineering decisions based upon outcomes.

·   Excellent interpersonal communications and analytical skills.

Preferred Qualifications

·   2-5 years’ experience in an engineering role within a manufacturing organization, preferably in a process engineering related position.

·   Experience with metal solidification software (e.g. Finite Solutions)
